SFB
Plastics serves the material handling and packaging industries by developing
innovative and economical products for their use. Our company was founded
in 1970 to develop and market a new product plastic freezer spacers.
The advantages of plastic spacers over traditional wooden spacers were
soon recognized, and meat packing plants and cold storage warehouses
began using our products to become more efficient. Thirty years later,
the vacuum formed plastic freezer spacer remains an integral part of
our product mix.
In 1976, SFB Plastics
diversified into additional product areas and began manufacturing
plastic containers for packaging products such as cooking oils, flavorings,
extracts, bleaches, and industrial chemicals. We are proud of our
high-production blow molding lines, which produce containers from
12 ounces to 6 gallons in size. Production flexibility allows us to
serve customers requiring several million containers annually as well
as customers who have very limited packaging needs. We produce our
containers in a wide color and weight range and in many packaging
configurations. We have the capability to label and sleeve our containers
and to add recycled plastic (PCR) to all production lines. We also
offer several containers that pass UN regulations for shipping hazardous
materials.
SFB Plastics owns
and occupies over 90,000 square feet of building space. We maintain
our own tooling room for building and repairing molds, dies, and fixtures
to produce both thermoformed and blow-molded parts. We also operate
our own electrical generating plant to give you the benefit of highly
competitive pricing.
